Think how rural communities could rejuvenate if farmland rents stayed local rather than flowing to out-of-state heirs. That's why some farmland owners want their hometowns to inherit at least part of their land.

DTN Weather Summary
Most Crop Areas Dry Tuesday
Bryce Anderson (Bio) – DTN Meteorologist

Light snow is in store for the Great Lakes Tuesday, with light rain in the Delta also noted. The rest of the primary U.S. and Canadian Prairies crop regions will be dry. Temperatures will show a milder trend in the eastern Midwest, and very warm elsewhere. This combination will favor spring fieldwork in all but the eastern Midwest; however, soil moisture concerns will again be prominent in the southern Plains wheat areas. » More DTN Weather Commentary
